The Crosscut Flannel is a staple of our collection that's been in production for 15 years. This season's fabric features soft yarns with a beautiful variation and textured hand feel that are woven into an ombre pattern. After it's been sewn, each shirt is then washed to remove shrinkage and soften the fabric further. The result is an exceedingly comfortable flannel that's the perfect weight for the transition from winter to spring. Additional details include a crossed back yoke and enamel-coated metal buttons that will patina and chip over time. Richard ★★★★★

The weave has that nice irregular texture you can actually feel when you run your hand across it, and the ombré shift in the plaid is subtle enough to wear to the office. I’ve already got two washes in and the softness hasn’t faded a bit.

Penelope Q. ★★★★★

Wore it on a chilly morning walk and the weave held up beautifully—there’s a subtle unevenness in the yarn that makes it look more like a well-worn favorite than a new shirt. Has that classic weight you feel in the shoulders but it’s still flexible enough to layer under a jacket.

Lucy E. ★★★★★

I've been wearing this almost every day since it arrived, and the color variation in the weave is even nicer in person—each plaid line catches the light differently. The fabric has that soft, textured hand feel that makes it cozy without feeling heavy, and it's held up well through a few washes alre
